Append To Function in Surveys
This function takes the Traveler's Answers to a Survey Question about Interests, and adds them automatically to the Traveler's Interest records. (This automation means users do not have to do this in two steps.)
Note that users must add these Interests to the Lookup Code Table in order to use them in reporting and to the answer set available for selection.
To set up this function, type this message in the Append to Field: Append to: TblTravelerInterest
So, if a traveler, John, says he is interested in Africa on a survey, as this answer is entered on the Survey, the "interest" Africa is simultaneously added to John's "travel interests" record.
Note: If you delete his answer on the survey, it does not automatically delete from the Interest table, and that step has to be done manually.
